My name is Cassie. Wife to Alex. Mom to Sam.

When Sam was 4 months old he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma cancer. This blog became my outlet to share, vent, keep people informed, and document our lives throughout his treatment.

When Sam finished treatment this project sort of fell to the wayside. I'm making an effort revive this space and to start documenting those everyday moments again!

We love God.
We love each other.

Wish Trip - Monday

(Hey! I tried posting this last night and it didn't publish! Let's try this again...)

We made it to Florida! Sam was a great little airline traveler.

We spent this afternoon and evening getting settled in and acquainted with Give Kids the World Village where we'll be staying. It it absolutely amazing. I can't even describe the amazingness of it. Friends who's wish kids stayed here tried to tell me, but there really is no way to convey the magic through words. Sam's favorites so far have been the carousel and the train which he rode both twice in a row. :) He also adores the model train station and thoroughly enjoyed a mint chocolate chip ice cream cone. Tonight was Halloween here in the Village but we stayed in and took baths and rested instead of trick or treating.

Hitting the hay now and heading to Animal Kingdom in the morning! Pray for a safe, fun, stress-free rest of the week for us all!

I don't think there is a way to format photos when blogging from my phone. So here are some photos from our day that may or may not be in order. :)

love Sam!!! thank you so much for the update, Sam and his cute self always puts a smile on my face no matter what.Sounds so magical! Enjoy the rest of the week, praying for a time of restoration, a time that God will restore the daring to believe the impossible with child like faith, nothing like seeing the excitement and magic in your child's eyes...praying for your safety and that everything goes smoothly for the rest of the week xoxo
