He can very clearly make an "n" sound, can say "no," and has said "Noah" correctly before when talking about his pal Noah... but since we've been studying the story of Noah and the ark this week he seems completely unable to say it correctly. It comes out like "Leelah." Rainbow is always brainbow. Thomas is still "mow." (I don't get that one at all.) He's refusing to wear his hearing aids, (Really, he hides and throws a FIT when he sees them. He acts like I'm trying to stick hot pokers in his ears...) and that does have me the tiniest bit concerned about his speech. But he reproduces sounds that technically he shouldn't hear, so I'm not too concerned at this very moment. I might change my mind tomorrow. (Note to self: Reschedule his audiologist appointment from last week.)
Anyway... here ya go!
(Warning: There's a nice loud scream right at the 6 second mark...)

I just realized that the last paragraph sounds like, "Hey! What's wrong with my kid's speech?" Just to reiterate I'm just sharing this for the cuteness factor. I'm not concerned, think he's doing well, and we can understand most of what he says. At least when he takes his dang hands out of his mouth. ;)

He talks awesome, love it and too cute. Lucas is funny, when he says things while he's calm the words come out soft and clear. When he runs all over the house at 90 mph... That's how his words come out too.
He's so cute. My son Maddox was watching with me and ran to get his trains to share with Sam. He tried shoving them right through the screen on my iPhone saying "here, baby. Train?"
I liked that "Hey girl Hey"-type of HEY thrown in there! Noah calls Sam "Shamn" anyway, so no biggie. :)
So sweet! Sam is doing amazingly well. Thanks for sharing.
Mow for Thomas sure does sound like he is saying mine.
Cute stuff!
