Day 3

Things are still going well so far this week. Sam is feeling perfectly fine and has been go go going nonstop every day. In fact... he's been on a sort of nap strike. Yesterday he napped for maybe 45 minutes and then stayed awake until close to dang midnight! His earlier nap didn't even last long enough for my Jimmy John's to get here. I don't know if it's teething or if it's just that he would just rather be in his bed at home. Maybe he wants me to lay down and nap with him. Yes, that must be it! Anyway... he's napping at this moment so I decided to pop on here and update the ol' blog.

(And now I've jinxed myself and he'll wake up in .25 seconds.)

We've just been chillin'. Hanging out and doing crafts. Having music therapy. Performing Rock-A-Bye Your Bear for everyone. The whole no napping thing has made him a little cranky at times but he's been generally agreeable.

We've been sort of working on shapes and colors. So far we have circle, star, and yellow.
For this one I was chanting "Pur-ple Cir-cle!" ::clap, clap, clap-clap-clap::

Watching Thomas. Oh! And he's been eating chicken! This is a big deal since he's always gagged on meat! :D

Making playdoh stars and then pinching them. :)

And me? I've been rocking the fauxhawk today.

Please pray that Sam will continue to do well. Start praying for next week which is expected to be rough. And pray that time will fly until next Thursday when Alex comes home because I really want him home. :)
