not much to say

I don't have much to say in the way of an update. No news is good news, right? Well... I'm sure I can come up with something. Let's see...

My ultrasound is in FIVE days! That's one hand's worth of finger counting right there, people! I've determined that I'm going to drink some orange juice to get the baby all hopped up on sugar in the hopes of getting the money shot.

I like my new job so far. I'm still in training - so still Monday through Friday. I officially don't want to go back to weekends. Tomorrow is my first day out front registering real live patients in person. I've registered them over the phone and online. I think I'll have fun interacting with patients. I always liked getting to do that on the floor.

So far I haven't had any trouble waking up in the morning. ::knocks on wood:: I was kind of dragging this morning but it was probably because I took a nap yesterday. I've determined that if I don't take a walk or go somewhere in the evenings that I'll ultimately end up napping. And today.... guess what? Nap friggin' city. So bad, yet so goood.

Oh, yeah... more work stuffs. I might still be freakishly loyal to my old department. When I was just getting ready to leave today I heard them call a code blue up on the floor. I called and they didn't have a secretary so I went up to help out. I can't just leave 'em hangin'.

My husband said he planned on painting the kitchen this week. It's Wednesday night. I've seen no signs of painting.

That husband I speak of also feels under-appreciated at work and is trying to do something about it. I'm feeling a little uncertain about rocking the boat considering the whole bun in the oven situation, but... okay.

In more husband news he's going on a mini-tour with a sweet little band from Nashville called Lexington. He leaves on Monday evening. After the ultrasound, of course.

In other sweet music news, I wish I was driving to SC on Saturday to see these dudes but in the words of Alex, "That's too much driving." Two which I say, "PsssSHaw! Who's the pregnant one with crazy restless/pinchy/crampy/GENERALLY WEIRD legs? That would be me... and I'm down."

I registered a man today who retired from KFC and I thought of Phil. Sorry, Phil.

Hmm... guess I had plenty to say after all.

ALEX = SOOOO LAME!!!! (just in the fact that he won't hop in the car and drive down for the show!!)

I think the solution may be for you guys to help them book a show in Louisville. :-D
